Follow the preservation of this old country Victorian home built at the turn of the 20th century by O.A. Garretson on Iowa's oldest farm settled in 1837. We will also be adding some historical images and personal accounts of the house as we make progress. Joel and Marlene Garretson

An album of Garretson history in America beginning in 1656 with John Garretson Van Der Hoff. Album is of particular interest to the descendants of Isaac Garretson 1765-1844 and Alice Paxson Garretson 1779-1855, and their children's trek to Iowa in 1837.
